Hills (McKechnie Section 2)

Recorded by Jackson (Dictionary), who states that Hills worked in the mid-nineteenth century in Cambridge.

It is possible that Jackson had confused Hills with Hill's Gallery (see Section One), which might conceivably have visited Cambridge and was perhaps flourishing in the 1840s. A silhouette, recorded by Jackson, is described by her as being `touched with gold lines' (as was the work of Hill's Gallery).
