Known only from an entry in Jackson’s ‘Dictionary’, which records Hills as an artist working in Cambridge in the mid 19th century. She mentions one silhouette, painted on card and highlighted with gold. However, McKechnie has suggested that this could be the work of Hill’s Gallery, active at a similar time.
