J Hutchinson has been suggested as a silhouette artist of the late 18th century by a number of academics, including Daphne Foskett and McKechnie. Indeed, miniature artists of that name were active at the time. However, no silhouette works positively attributable to a J Hutchinson of that time period have yet been found.
