Little is known about Bradshaw. Evidence that he was a silhouette artist comes two profiles held in a private collection. The reverse of one reads, 'taken by Bradshaw, Novr, 1832', so we can assume that he was working in the early nineteenth century. However, it is unclear how long he produced silhouettes for. Both silhouettes known to have been produced by Bradshaw represent the same sitter, possibly one Captain Henry Edwards. They are cut from paper, embellished very coarsely in gold and with thinned black pigment.
