Caldecott (McKechnie Section 1)

Recorded by Jackson (Dictionary), who describes the artist as a cutter of silhouettes, and states that a portrait of a woman named 'Emma Livius' was inscribed on the back by him. She dates this silhouette to 1838, when Caldecott was evidently in Torquay, since the silhouette is inscribed on the back 'Taken by Mr. Caldecott of Torquay'. There is no information about Caldecott's work.
