Known primarily for her wax modelling, Mrs Patience Wright had a high-profile, prolific and varied artistic career which may have included silhouette artistry. Coke refers briefly to a Wright silhouette in ‘The Art of Silhouettes’, but gives no information beyond that her compositions generally featured a table. No examples of her silhouette work appear to have survived.
