Recorded as a partnership in Jackson’s ‘Dictionary’, on the basis of a trade label offering silhouettes cut with a “Patent Machine”, framed in glass and gilt. An address of 2 Wardour Street London is given, but no dates. Foskett records two artists named Manners, both active in the mid-19th century, but no artist named Hill. No examples of their work are currently known.
