Dr Lind worked in collaboration with Tiberius Cavallo in the creation of all his profiles. They were both predominantly scientists and only produced profiles of their circle of friends and eminent contemporaries as a hobby. These included Tom Paine and King George III. Lind had a private printing press at his family home in Windsor that was used to produce copies of his profiles. Typically these were painted in very dense black with little embellishment; shirt-frills for example were not expressed. Generally the bustline termination in Lind profiles is almost straight.
