Charlotte Le Page created many portraits of her own family including the Reverent R L Le Page, Amelia Le Page and ‘Uncle Le Page’, as well as a self-portrait. She was working around 1800 and is known to have painted coloured miniatures on ivory as well as cut profiles and bronzed work. Unfortunately, none of her work has yet been discovered and she is known simply through an entry in Jackson’s ‘Dictionary’.
