Trewinnard, Joshua (McKechnie Section 3)

See section Two for main entry

Included in this Section because on his two trade labels, both used jointly with other artists (No. 1, with Mrs Trewinnard; No. 2, with J. T. Mitchell) Trewinnard offers work on glass. No examples have been identified. Costume of c. 1806-1819, or possibly c. 1820-30, might be expected on profiles which come to light. Dress, shown in full detail, would probably be painted in either brushwork alone or by the use of a fingerprinted base. Trewinnard used oval pearwood frames at least as late as 1819.
