Parry produced a sheet of full-length silhouette caricatures, entitled Whims, signed 'John Parry' and dated 1850, now in a box of unframed profiles in the Victoria and Albert Museum. There seems to be no connection between Parry and the Auguste Parry recorded by Jackson (Dictionary) as having taken a silhouette formerly in the Wellesley Collection, with any of the artists named Parry listed by Foskett, or with the gem engraver, J. Parry, who exhibited at the Royal Academy 1830-41.
