Benjamin Pearce the Younger is known for producing highly embellished and decorative copies of his father, Benjamin Pearce the Elder’s, work. An itinerant artist, he is known to have travelled to Bristol, Bath, Lancaster, Shrewsbury and Bournemouth, and unusually, he was still working in 1901, when he produced a full length profile of Lavinia Spencer.
