Jackson records two artists named Palmer, without initials. To one is attributed a full-length silhouette of a dancing figure, the other a silhouette entitled ‘Harry Bluff, a Tar for all Weathers’. Both these pieces were cut work, and it seems likely that the two may well be from the same hand. However, it has so far proved impossible to discover more about either artist.
