Thomas Rosenberg worked as a drawing teacher and miniature painter in the early 19th century. Signed landscape works by him are in the Victoria Art Gallery Bath, as is a signed portrait miniature. It may be that, as the eldest son, Thomas helped his celebrated father Charles Rosenberg produce silhouettes for the family business, named as “Rosenberg and Son” in the Bath directory 1812. However, no direct evidence of Thomas Rosenberg’s silhouette work has been discovered.
