Both Jackson (Dictionary) and Foskett state that Taylor executed silhouettes, but neither describes any examples. The only example known to me, bearing a label of Taylor's, is painted on glass. Nevertheless, since he stated a price as low as 2s 6d, presumably he also offered silhouettes painted on paper.
