Norman, E. G. A. (McKechnie Section 1)

Recorded by Jackson (Dictionary). Norman appears to have worked for the Hubard Gallery (q.v.) at some time during the 1830s, but he may later have worked independently. There seems to be no connection between this artist and Robert Norman (see Section Seven). Jackson mentions a cut full length silhouette, with detail painted in Chinese white and colour. One example illustrated under the Hubard Gallery is in this style. Extant work by Norman would probably be signed. Work produced for the Hubard Gallery might, of course, bear no individual signature or label.
