Trewinnard, Joshua (McKechnie Section 4)

On his two trade labels Trewinnard offers work on 'composition' (presumably plaster). No examples are known to me. If any should come to light, one could expect them to date from c. 1811 until at least c. 1819. (Although Trewinnard worked with other artists at the same address until 1829, neither of his known trade labels can be said with certainty to have been used during the 1820s). One would expect profiles on plaster to be painted in shades of black, with the costume shown in full, in conformity with Trewinnard's style of painting on card.
