A silhouette in a private collection in Nothern Ireland reveals to us the artist M.Soche. The profile in question is of a father with two of his sons dated 1844 and signed M.Soche. The figures are cut from black paper, in a rather unremarkable style very typical of the period. Nothing else is known of Soche.
